A month or two ago, I decided we’d started going to a drive thru food pantry. Everything keeps getting more expensive and I’m barely making it. I was hesitant to try the pantry for a few reasons, one being that we don’t eat meat, and shouldn’t eat dairy, and I didn’t want to be wasteful or take from others who could need those meals. But, to our surprise the first day we went we were given tons of fruit, vegetables, some drinks and treats, and one giant frozen ham. That day, I knocked on three of my neighbors' doors until someone agreed to rehome the ham.
